How long do Tattoo-Me tattoos last?

Are Tattoo-Me tattoos safe for my skin?

Absolutely. Our tattoos are crafted with skin-friendly, vegan, and cruelty-free ingredients. They are FDA-compliant and designed for topicals. As with any product, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list and doing a patch test if you have sensitive skin.

How do I apply my stick-on tattoo for the best results?

For a flawless, long-lasting tattoo, follow these steps: 1) Start with clean, dry, and un-moisturized skin. 2) Peel off the clear top film. 3) Press the inked side firmly onto your skin for 30 seconds. 4) Gently dab the paper backing with water until it slides off easily. 5) Let the revealed design air dry. Avoid stretching the skin during application!

How do I take care of my body painting?

For Body Painting and Airbrush Tattoos: try to avoid friction with clothing and or surfaces. you can apply some mist to moisturize your temporary tattoo, you can also apply a thin layer of olive oil or other natural oil to keep the temp tattoo on. Unfortunately these last 3 to 5 days at the most.

How can I make my tattoo last longer?

Extend the life of your art by applying it to less oily, low-friction areas. After application, keep the tattoo dry for the first 12 hours and moisturize sparingly afterward. Avoid scrubbing the area and long, hot baths.

How do I remove my Tattoo-Me tattoo?

Your tattoo will naturally fade as your skin sheds. For quicker removal, gentle exfoliation with a scrub, baking soda, or an oil-based makeup remover will help speed up the process.

What are my shipping options?

We offer several shipping methods to get your products to you quickly. Specific carriers, delivery times, and costs will be calculated at checkout based on your location.

What is your return and exchange policy?

Due to the personal nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on applied tattoos. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact our customer delight team within 14 days of delivery, and we'll make it right.

After Care Instructions for Henna/Mehndi

How to take care of your Henna Tattoo: 1. Do not touch the henna while it is drying. 2. Let dry for a minimum of 2 hours. (leave on the skin longer for a more intense color) 3. Let the henna paste fall off on its own. 4. No contact with water for the next 48 hours. If necessary, use petroleum jelly to cover the design and avoid contact with water 5. Henna drawing lasts between 7 and 21 days approx. FOR BETTER RESULTS Continue to moisten the henna with sweet lemon juice and let dry again The final color of the henna drawing takes up to 48 hours to darken Henna is known to bring good luck to those who wear it.

After Care Instructions for Jagua Tattoos

How to take care of your Jagua Tattoo: 1. Do NOT touch gel while it is drying. 2. Let it dry for a minimum of 2 hours. 3. Remove the gel when completely dry. 4. NO WATER contact for first 48 hours (you may use Natural Oil to cover & protect design from water). 5. Jagua Tattoos last 10 days on average. 6. It take 48 hours for your Jagua Tattoo to fully darken, so please be patient.

What Ifs & Troubleshooting

What if my tattoo develops cracks or fine lines?

Don't worry! Fine lines are a natural part of the temporary tattoo's settling process as it bonds with your top layer of skin. It doesn't affect the longevity or appearance. Just continue with your normal aftercare.

My tattoo is lighter than I expected. What happened?

A lighter result usually means the temporary tattoo wasn't left to dry and imprint for a long enough time. For a bold, dark result, ensure you let your temporary tattoo dry for the longest possible time (1 to 6 hours). If your temp tattoo was done by one of our artists, you can get it retraced for FREE within the first 24 hours to boost the color, OR after 7 days to get a longer length result.

Can I use my Tattoo-Me tattoo for a special event?

Absolutely! For any event, we recommend applying your temporary tattoo 2 days prior to your event so to give the design time to fully darken. This gives it a full 48 hours to set without any interference, and it will be at its peak darkness and clarity for your event.

What is the difference between your Jagua/Henna Tattoos and Body Painting/Airbrush tattoos?

Our Jagua/Henna Tattoos are for lasting expression, designed to look great for 1-2 weeks. Our Airbrush/BodyPainting Tattoos are perfect for a single night out or 1-2 days event, using a different, less-permanent formula that easily washes off with soap and water.

Do you offer vegan and cruelty-free products?

Yes! 100%. All Tattoo-Me products are certified vegan and are never tested on animals. We believe self-expression should be ethical and kind.

Can I apply a tattoo over a scar, mole, or stretch mark?

The ink may not absorb as evenly on textured or raised skin, which could lead to a patchy design. For the best results, we recommend applying to smooth, uniform skin.

What's the best way to position my tattoo for a symmetrical look?

Use a mirror! For precise placement, you can lightly hold the unpeeled tattoo in your desired spot and check the mirror. Some of our users also recommend using a dab of eyeliner to mark the spot before the final application.
